This content of this site has been created to reflect Tim Blackmore's career in radio and event production since the 1960s.

His has been a career of rearranging words and music to suit the requirements of a wide range of radio broadcasts as well as numerous public events in venues as varied as The Royal Albert Hall, Grosvenor House, Trafalgar Square and Alexandra Palace.
As well as writing and producing them, Tim also presented some of his radio programmes including "The Collection" and "The Sound of the City" for Capital Radio in London, "Settling The Score" for BBC Radio Four, "Charles Parker" for Radio 4 Extra and "Established 1973" for Radio Two.
In June 2022, Tim was diagnosed with a brain tumour, Glioblastoma, and was given a prognosis of 3 months. He died peacefully at home in Cheltenham just over a year later on 29th June 2023. His funeral was at Cheltenham Crematorium on 18th July and there was a memorial held on the 24th October in a packed BBC Radio Theatre, New Broadcasting House in London. He is survived by his wife, Margaret, and their children, Joanna and Simon.
